Success in any field is commendable and there is something to learn from everyone who has tasted it. This time around on my #DigitalTalkShow I had the chance to interview the YouTube singing sensation, Siddharth Slathia.
Within 6 years, Siddharth grew from 1.75 lakh subscribers to 16 lakhs subs! That was an amazing feat which calls for a little insight into his mind for the little tips that he has for his followers.
The entire interview was an informative discussion on how he upped his YouTube game, became an Influencer and how he handles his fans and followers on various accounts.
Here are a few excerpts from the interview:
- The Last couple of years has been hectic for me as I have been getting a lot of shows and that involves travelling frequently. Unlike 4 to 5 videos per month which I used to upload every month, now I try to do 1 or 2 per month. So from quantity, my focus is now on Quality, like better video, better audio, better songs and some original songs.
- The main thing to be kept in mind while uploading a song is to check what your audience wants. Sometimes I have stepped out of my comfort zone and tried singing songs that I never thought I would sing and that got me the highest number of views. So the audience’s demands matters.
- We are coz fans are. I think it is very important to hear what they have to say, and receive all the love which they give to us. But compared to before, it has not been easy for me to reply to each and every one DM, comment or statement, but I try to reply to at least 90 to 95% of my DMs on Instagram.
- Be loyal to your channel and consistent, YouTube needs regularity, so don’t expect to upload a video, go on a big break, then see the same amount of engagement for the next video you post after months.
Siddharth was kind enough to share the tips on how to increase YouTube subscribers, how much does he earn through it and some unforgettable incidents in his life.
This was followed by a very interesting round of Rapid Fire where he shared his favorite YouTube Tool, his fitness routine, and how does he handle all those ‘I Love Yous’ on his Social Medias. And to top it all, I had the chance to listen to Siddharth sing one of my all time favorite songs! Do not miss that!
