1. Instagram Is Testing an In-App Teleprompter Feature for Edits

    Instagram is currently testing an in-app teleprompter feature designed to facilitate video editing. This innovative tool aims to enhance content creation by assisting creators in delivering their messages more clearly and confidently.

    2.Google Tests AI Versions of High-Profile Influencers

      Google has launched an innovative AI experiment called portraits allowing users to engage with AI-generated versions of high-profile influencers. This technology offers conversational advice based on insights from real experts like Kim Scott. Through machine learning, users can seek guidance while AI reflects the authentic voice and content of these personalities, enhancing user interaction significantly.

      3. Google Search Product Results Tests Blue Quick View Button

        Google is testing a blue “Quick View” button on organic product listings in Google Search results. This is different from past tests on shopping ads, hotel listings, or recipes. When clicked, this button for a grid result takes the user to the normal scrollable product feed. Variations of the button text like “More Details” and “Compare Prices” have also been observed. This test signifies Google’s ongoing efforts to enhance product discovery and

          Google is currently testing the use of generative AI to summarise stories within Google Discover, a feature some are likening to AI Overviews for Discover. This development, spotted by Scott McNeal, involves AI-generated summaries appearing for content listed on the platform. This is a key update to watch. While it could enhance user experience by providing quick insights, it also raises concerns among publishers about potential reductions in click-through rates from Google Discover, which is a significant traffic source for many .

          7. YouTube Provides More Opportunities to Make Money from Educational Content

            YouTube now offers a new way for creators to earn money through its “Player for Education” programme. Creators will receive a share of the revenue when their videos are embedded in school projects or lessons.It might encourage more users to create educational videos for the site. The Player for Education does not show ads,and features to keep students’ privacy safe.

            8. WhatsApp Launches Ads in Status Updates and Channel Subscriptions

              WhatsApp is adding ads to Status updates and introducing promoted channels in the discovery section, plus paid channel subscriptions for exclusive content. All monetization features appear only in the Updates tab, keeping personal chats unchanged. 

              9. Threads Adds Spoiler Tags for Posts

                After trying them out over the last few months, Threads has introduced a new feature: spoiler tags in posts. This lets users hide words behind a clickable overlay. If you want to share something like a TV show spoiler without spoiling it for everyone, you can highlight the text in the post composer and choose “Mark spoiler.” The words will then be blurred until someone taps on them.

                10. Google Ads is testing New Charts Interface For Campaigns

                  Google Ads appears to be testing a new interface for charts and graphs within the campaign tab. The new layout features larger boxes and more visual elements, making it easier to see data. It also offers different ways to arrange and display the data in these charts

                  11. Google Search Console Now Tracks Clicks, Impressions, and Positions in AI Mode

                    Google Search Console now officially counts AI Mode clicks and impressions alongside traditional search data. AI Mode data is grouped with regular web search performance reporting, making it difficult to segment AI Mode insights separately from standard search results. 

                    12. Google is experimenting with changing the site name and URL in search results.

                      Google is testing to swap the site name with the URL in the search results. Instead of site name on the top, google is testing to show the URL above the name of the site. 

                      15. Instagram Introduces New Editing Features, Such as Keyframe Editing

                        Instagram added new features to its Edits app, including Keyframes for precise video editing that enables creators to animate position, rotation, and scale of clips with granular control, creating smoother transitions and professional cinematic effects for video content. 

                        16. Threads Expands Its Hidden Words Options

                          Threads continues to provide users more options to operate both applications separately. The new feature includes hiding words that users don’t want to interact with. Users can choose to block certain words, phrases, or emojis, and set an expiration date on that setting within 30 days

                          17. LinkedIn Now Offers Video Covers for Newsletters and Articles

                            LinkedIn has introduced a new feature to make your article stand out more, in which users along with their article can also include videos now. Soon, all LinkedIn users will be able to insert a video into the header image area of their articles. This change is part of its focus on adding more video content.

                            18. TikTok Introduces Broadcast Messaging Bulletin Boards from Brand and Creator Profiles

                              Tik Tok has set to introduce its own bulletin board, a similar feature like instagram’s broadcast. The creator can decide upon the title, description and whether to have a ‘join’ option on their profile. The creators can share anything with a limit of 20 bulletins, with character limit of 1000. Fans have the accessibility to only react, but not reply.

                              19. Google Ads is testing Compact Segment Dropdown Menu

                                Google Ads is trying out a new version of the segment dropdown menu in the advertiser console. This new design is smaller and more compact, allowing more options to be seen at once on the screen. The previous layout was wider with more space and appeared more open. The updated UI takes up less space and has a simpler, cleaner look.

                                20. The floating copilot search box is being tested by Bing Search.

                                  Microsoft is trying out a floating Copilot search box that appears within the Bing Search results page. The goal is to encourage users to ask follow-up questions, not in Bing Search itself, but in Microsoft Copilot instead.They are also testing a new “See all links” button and adding more AI features to the “People also ask” section in Bing Search.

                                  21. Bolding Hover Snippets Are Being Tested by Google and Bing

                                    Both Google and Microsoft have started testing the ‘Bold’ element in their search engines. While Google focuseson testing ‘Bold’ in their description section of the search results, Microsoft has adopted ‘Bold’ the title of the search results when the user hovers over them.
